Neighbourhood Watch Report : 12th June 2015

We are still getting a number of reports of house burglaries across Breckland.

If you are unfortunate to have been a victim of a dwelling burglary, we urge homeowners to review their security.

Crime prevention advice can be obtained by calling 101 and seeking an appointment for a survey which will be carried out by a trained member of staff.

If you suspect that a crime is in progress, please call 999, noting as much detail as possible, especially descriptions of persons’ clothing, vehicles, registration numbers and direction of travel.

31937/15 Burglary Dwelling KENNEDY CLOSE
DEREHAM		  Between 03 Jun 2015 15:00 and 07 Jun 2015 13:10 Entry gained and items stolen.
32485/15 Burglary Dwelling BOYD AVENUE
DEREHAM		  Between 08 May 2015 09:00 and 09 Jun 2015 16:20 Unknown person(s) have gained entry to the rear conservatory.Nothing appears to have been taken.
32100/15 Burglary in a Building other than a Dwelling CROWN LANE
LITTLE FRANSHAM		  Between 05 Jun 2015 18:00 and 08 Jun 2015 07:40 Unknown persons have entered the building through an insecure window and have then broken into the office upstairs by forcing the locked door possibly by kicking it as no tool marks and then got into the locked drawer in the desk and stolen a petty cash tin with around £200 cash in it.

MATTISHALL		  Between 08 Jun 2015 03:30 and 08 Jun 2015 04:00 Entry gained by unknown person(s) and around 30 – 40 of Canaries birds stolen from the bird house in the garden, with approx 8 adults and baby birds left.

DEREHAM		  Between 07 Jun 2015 23:00 and 08 Jun 2015 03:15 Unknown person/s have forced entry to the building and emptied the cash out of two fruit machines and some change out of a till.

DEREHAM		  Between 03 Jun 2015 23:30 and 04 Jun 2015 09:00 IP has had the external cable to her internet cut.
31751/15 Other Criminal Damage BRETON CLOSE
DEREHAM		  Between 06 Jun 2015 13:00 and 06 Jun 2015 14:00 Unknown group of youths have pushed one of their numbers into the ip’s hedge causing broken branches and dents.
32119/15 Other Criminal Damage SLAD LANE
BILLINGFORD		  Between 07 Jun 2015 22:30 and 07 Jun 2015 23:00 Unknown persons have fly tipped garden waste onto a maize field, which has caused damage to the crop.
32173/15 Other Criminal Damage SWAN ROAD
DEREHAM		  Between 06 Jun 2015 22:00 and 07 Jun 2015 09:45 2 metal signs have been damaged beyond repair.
32536/15 Theft From A Motor Vehicle ALL SAINTS WALK
MATTISHALL		  Between 09 Jun 2015 00:30 and 09 Jun 2015 07:00 Unknown person/s have snapped (or what appears to be) the locking mechanism from the rear doors of the victims van.  Persons have then entered the vehicle and removed a large quantity of electrical tools and accessories.

DEREHAM		  Between 27 May 2015 11:00 and 27 May 2015 11:10 Key stolen from keyring fob.
31509/15 Theft If Not Classified Elsewhere BAXTER ROW
DEREHAM		  Between 28 May 2015 16:00 and 28 May 2015 17:25 Informant son left his Pro Scooter in Baxter Row whilst he visited a friend on his return the scooter had been taken by persons unknown.

DEREHAM		  Between 07 Jun 2015 09:15 and 07 Jun 2015 09:40 IP believes she has dropped her purse in the street where it was picked up and taken by an unknown male.
